Myrtle Beach :)

Spring break is always something to look forward to each year! My family and our family friends go to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina! Our family friends have a daughter who is now 18, a son who is 17, and another daughter who is 13. The are the nicest family and we love having them around!
We first went to Myrtle Beach my freshman year spring break! we didn't plan going with the fox family but they were just there the same time we were! we did everything together that spring break and it only seemed right to go together the next year! we have so much fun together and we all get along great!!

This is a picture of my family in front of The Giant Crab!! its our favorite place to eat down there and we got at least twice while we are there!! there hasnt been a time we didnt go there when we were in myrtle beach! It a big seafood buffet and i dont think i ever see my dad eat more food in one sitting than i do when we are here!! its such a fun place to be and we love it!
this is a ppicture of ally, alex, and i on the beach! it was our second year and after a 12 hour car ride we couldn't wait to hit the beach! during the longs days on the beach we could be found tanning, in the ocean, playing football, and even rarey we will be on a run!! if we aren't at the beach you can find us poolside or flirting with the cute tiki bar workers hahaha. it safe to say we share the best vacation memories together and i wouldnt trade them for anything!

ACL injury

Tearing an ACL is one on the most painful things you can ever encounter in your life. Last year while playing backetball i had the wonderful pleasure of tearing mine. During our second to last practice of the season i was going in for a layup when a teammate of mine tried cutting me off and her knee went straight into mine. I twisted my knee to the right completely and i just fell to the ground. I laid on the ground holding my knee, screaming words i probably shouldnt have been saying. Next came all the doctors appointments and all the MRIs and the preparation for my surgery. After surgery a whole new story came.
This brace became my best friend for the next 2 months after my surgery. We ate slept and breathed together. This brace was set at a certain degree each month to help get my knee mobilized while giving it the support it need. After my knee was to the point were i didnt need to wear it, i was a little scared to not have it on. Now it is in my closet waiting to make a return.
Next came the physical therapy which was a pain in the butt. I had it twice a week every week for an hour. It amazed me how little muscle i had in my leg. it has taken a long time to bring it back and truthfully its not all back yet. doing the machines and the exercises made me realize how hard coming back from this injury is gonna be. although im not in PT anymore, I still work almost everyday to have my strong and healthy knee back!

The Big Apple :)

"One belongs to New York instantly, one belongs to it as much in five minutes as in five years." -Tom Wolfe

This summer my mom, older sister and I went to New York City for a long weekend! It was honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had! Getting to walk through Time Square during the day and seeing how busy it was than walking through it at night and getting to see it all lit up was amazing. Walking through Central Park and getting to walk up and down the major streets was like a dream! We did so much in such a little amount of time but it was one of the best memorys of my summer and we all became a lot closer on this trip.
This is a picture of me standing in Time Square. It was such a great experience to be able to walk through all the stores and to people watch. At one point I honestly just took a step back and spun in a circle to take up everything around me. Im so blessed to have got the opportunity to be there. Later this day we ate at MESA Grill which is the restaurant of the one and only Bobby Flay. The food was the best food I've ever had and it was the perfect ending to the perfect day!
This is a picture of my mom, sister, and I outside an amazing restaurant called Beccos!! it was so good we went there twice on our trip! the food was amazing and the workers just the sweetest things ever!! Later this day we went on a boat tour to see The Statue of Liberty!! I never thougtht I would get to see her in person and when i got too, i thought it was a dream!! Going to NYC was probably one of the best things that has every happened to me!! It was defiantly a life hanging experience and i wouldnt trade it for anything!!! Defiantly the best birthday present ever!!!

huntinggg :)

“Hunting is not a sport. In a sport, both sides should know they're in the game," - Unknown.

Hunting is a big part of my life. It is the main thing that my dad and I get to bond over. We both share an extreme amount of love for it and im glad I get to share it with him.

This is the first buck that I ever shot!! It was the last day of youth season and my last chance to get a deer. At first a doe came up right on my right and than soon after the buck came. When I pulled my gun up, they are away. I thought they were gone for good than ten minutes later, they came up 30 yards right in front of me. I pulled up my gun and the doe ran, Thinking she gave me away, I sat motionless. The buck stayed and with aim and a pull of the trigger, he dropped right in his place. My dad was so excited I thought he was going to faint! To say the least I'm happy I could make myself and everyone else proud!!
This was my first deer this season! I was the only girl hunting this season but thats nothing new!! Being the only girl gets me soecial treatment a lot and i hate it but ive grown used to it!! My dad is always so proud of me when I get a deer and I love seeing that smile on his face when it happens!!
This was my second deer of the season! Even though I'm a girl, I still showed up all the guys I hunt with again this season!! I love hunting because its kind of like a mini escape from everything around me! Its nice to just be able to kick back with a bunch of guys and escape from girl world for awhile! I really do have a passion for hunting and the five days I get to go are some of the best days of my life and i will cherish them forever :)

basketball is lifeeeee

"Somewhere behind the athlete you've become and the hours of practices and the coaches who have pushed you...is a little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back...Play for her,"- Mia Hamm.
This is a picture of my freshman year basketball team. We all decided to dress like our coach for our last game and wear UGLY sweaters. We were a very good basketball team and won most of our games. We all got along great and I guess our coach wasn't that bad. This was defiantly my favorite season of basketball just because of how we played as a team. I don't think I could of asked for a better season!
This is a picture of my basketball team sophomore year. It was completely different from my freshman year to say the least. A lot of girls didn't come back from the previous year and that kind of sucked. We also got all new coaches so it was a big transition from the year before. We had a pretty good season with only have 6 girls on our team. We won a lot and pushed through every game. I can honestly say I only remember 4 games of me not playing the whole time. It was a fun year and I'm glad I had such amazing teammates.
This is a picture of me going up for a lay-up during my sophomore year. This was my most challenging game of the season. Midpark had an amazing outside shooter and I was asked to face guard her the entire game. It was a hard game but it was a great opportunity to show what I could do! I think I did a good job guarding and I'm hapy I didn't let my team down. Unfortunately in one of our last practices of the season,I tore my ACL.I was unable to play this year but I am working on getting my knee back to normal. I can't wait to take the court again next year with my teammates! :)

my bestesttt frannnnnnn.

"Together forever never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart."
Let me tell you about my best friend also known as my sister. This is Kegan and she is seriously the most important person in my life after my mom. Kegan is not only my sister but shes my best friend, partner in crime, and everything else you could want in a person. This is a picture of us at an amazing restsurant called Becco's in NYC. We were having a blast at lunch and just cracking ourselves up like we always do.

This is us waiting on a boat getting ready to go see the Statue of Liberty! Spending a long weekend in NYC with my mom and my best friend was one of the most amazing times in my life and I will cherish it forever. Kegan is a sophomore in college in Buffalo, NY. I miss her like crazy all the time and it is so weird to think that she is starting her life as an adult. I wish everyday that she would drive home every night so we could hang out and spend long winter and short summer days together like we used too. Having my sister in college has been a real change for me but i do believe it also made me grow up a little bit myself. I love my sister so much and am so thankful that i have her in my life. She has helped me grow up and will continue to help me for as long as she can.

my girlzzz

Friends play a big part in your life but best friends play an even bigger part. Best friends are the people you can count on for anything and they will stick by your side. They are the people that won't like someone just because you don't like that person. I am extremely blessed to have the people I get to call my best friends in my life. They are the best friends anyone could ever ask for and I could never repay them for the things that they do for me.
This is Rachel. She has been my best friend for about eleven years now and I can't believe that! I have known this girl my whole life and I am blessed to have such an amazing friend like her. She knows everything about me and still wants to be around me! We have defiantly had our ups and downs over the past years but we always realize that our friendship is to important to just throw away. I don't think I could ask for a better best friend than this girl right here!
This is Ally. We have been friends for about 3 years now and those years have defiantly been good ones. She is literally the funniest person I know and we always laugh our butts off when we are together. She can make me smile when no one else can and I love that about her! She is literally like my third sister and I don't know what i would do without her in my life!

And last but not least, we have Zoe! I have known Zoe since I was in second grade. She is literally the most down to earth person I know and is always putting my problems in front of her own. She is the cutest little thing too! Like I don't know how anyone could hate her because she is just so precious! I love this girl to death and am so happy she's my best friend!

Family is key

At the end of the day the only people you can really count in being there for you are your family. Family is very important to me. They are the ones who push me to do my best and support me no matter what. all families have their problems but at the end of the day they are always there for you.

These are my two sisters Kegan and Kiley. Kegan is my older sister and has just started her sophomore year in college. Even though her college is only three hours away and we talk all the time I miss her like crazy. Iwould definanlty say that my sister is my best friend. my little sister Kiley is a crazy one. Even though she is super loud anf annoying at times, i love her to death and couldnt live without her!
This is my dad. He is the biggest manly man I have ever met! To him I'm daddys little boy! My dad and I love bonding over hunting, fishing, fourwheeling, and other things most girls wouldn't do! He has helped shaped me into the person I am today and I'm thakful for that.

And last but not least, my amazing mother. My mom is my biggest fan in anything and everything I do. I am 100% positive i have the best mom ever! My mom is my best friend, hands down. I can tell her anything and I know I can trust her with anything. My mom is defiantly a cool mom but she also knows when to be a mom and i love that, well most times. I am so happy to be blessed with such an amazing family!
